HRDC addresses maternal, child, and community health through:
- Conducting health awareness campaigns on nutrition, hygiene, immunization, and disease prevention.
- Supporting maternal and child health programs, including antenatal care, safe delivery, and postnatal follow-up.
- Providing nutritional support, including supplementary feeding for malnourished children and pregnant/lactating women.
- Coordinating with local health clinics and mobile medical teams to ensure access to healthcare services in remote and conflict-affected areas.
Example: HRDC partnered with local clinics to provide emergency health services and nutritional support to over 2,000 children under five in Baidoa and Galkayo.
